Wright Pump
The gentle action of these sanitary positive displacement pumps on shear-sensitive liquids or slurries with soft solids, makes them the preferred pump technology for all areas of food processing, beverage and cosmetic manufacturing.

Wright Pump – THE preferred technology for all areas of food processing, beverage and cosmetic manufacturing.
The Wright Pump uses a positive displacement circumferential piston pumping principle that has been proven over many decades. They are dimensionally and functionally interchangeable with Waukesha Pumps but feature several significant enhancements as standard.
Waukesha Pump users can upgrade to the superior Wright Pump with no need for expensive pipework changes and all pump parts are interchangeable without modification. The TRA10 pump and parts are interchangeable with the Waukesha Pump Universal 1 and the TRA20 pumps and parts interchange with the Waukesha Universal 2.
How Wright Pumps improve on Waukesha Pumps
- Helical timing gears
- One-piece stainless steel shafts
- High strength stainless steel 17-4 PH shafts on larger sizes
- Powder-coated gearboxes
- Four-way mounting
- Solid one-piece covers
Which pump suits my application?
These highly versatile pumps are used in diverse applications across the world and are capable of handling anything from thin liquids like milk to thick, sticky fluids like chocolate or syrup.
The Wright TRA10 pump series is the traditional workhorse pump designed for strip-clean (C-O-P) applications and offers discharge pressures of up to 14 Bar (the Model 0450 offers up to 27 Bar).
The Wright TRA20 pump series is designed for high hygiene applications. They use O-ring sealed rotors and rotor retainers and offer an optional Clean-In-Place design with internal porting to allow vigorous flushing through all internal chambers. The TRA20 also allows higher pressure capabilities of up to 34 Bar.
